Hey You!
I’m Umar Farooq. The heart and hustle behind Studio Lateralus. Like many of you, I’ve walked the path of fitness myself. Feeling lost and disconnected with my body, I sought solace in the world of movement. I began my journey in Mixed Martial Arts (Muay Thai & Jiu Jitsu) which helped me discover the profound connection between physical exertion and mental clarity. I strongly believe that with the right guidance, discipline and will power – we can all achieve what we set out to. I know I did.
As a Master Trainer with over 13+ years of experience in diverse areas like Tai Chi, Meditation, Animal Flow and more, I bring a wealth of knowledge with me. But more importantly, I understand the human struggle – the desire for results, the frustration with plateaus, and the need for a supportive environment to flourish.
I’m not here to sell you quick-fixes, just a commitment – to understanding your unique needs and building a sustainable routine that empowers you from within.
